ICARUS: earth-made mineral sunscreen, “the shield”
Inspired by the myth of Icarus and his fateful flight toward the sun, this hydrating mineral sun balm is made for those who love the warmth of golden days – but know better than to get too close. Icarus combines rich, grass-fed/grass-finished tallow with carefully selected oils and non-nano zinc oxide, creating a creamy mineral balm designed to help protect exposed skin while leaving it feeling soft and conditioned, including:
Carrot Seed: antioxidant protection which neutralizes bad cell damaging molecules, fights dark spots, calms redness as well as inflammation and swelling, evens tone, and deeply moisturizes.
Raspberry Seed: high levels of phytosterols reduce water loss and lock in moisture without clogging pores, offers natural UV-absorbing properties, neutralizese free radicals and supports collagen production, soothes irritated skin.
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: a fine, odorless, white mineral compound (ZnO) used widely in homemade sunscreens, diaper rash creams, cosmetics, and skin ointments. It sits on top of the skin to block UVA and UVB rays and soothe minor irritations without being absorbed into the body.
Your Daily Ritual
